Since the College of Business (CoB) became the Key Cultivation College for the BEST program in 2021, National Taipei University (NTPU) has adopted the core principles: (1) Strategic Management, (2) Improved Quality, and (3) Sustainable Planning. NTPU Bilingual Education Office (BEO) and CoB have applied the following tactics and measures:

(1) English language curriculum development: We develop theme-based College English courses according to students’ CEFR English level. Indeed, the Language Center (LC) has developed ESP/EAP/ESAP courses and a new EAP/ESAP micro-credit program, ensuring students’ smooth transition to EMI education. (2) EMI course implementation: We formulated the directive for Subsidies for taking EMI courses and English proficiency tests to encourage students to take EMI courses. In the 2023/24 academic year, 24.61% of the sophomores and 58.86% of the first-year graduate students in the CoB acquired EMI credits. The CoB will launch a "Business Artificial Intelligence" micro-program in the academic year 113, with 30% set to consist of EMI courses. 
(3) EMI TA training: An EMI TA training program is conducted before each semester to foster EMI TAs’ skills and better assist EMI teachers and students. (4) Students’ English language skills enhancement: While students' English score in GSAT is considered for admission to all the undergraduate departments in the CoB, the LC also organizes competitions, lectures, workshops, writing/academic English consultation services, and provides online writing resources to enhance students' English proficiency.
(5) Faculty Development: About 29.8% of the faculty members in NTPU have received EMI teacher training. BEO/LC integrates resources, works with AIT to provide comprehensive EMI teacher training programs and workshops, and implements subsidies and relevant measures. Starting from the 2023/24 academic year, the CoB has implemented a Mentor-mentee system, allowing teachers with extensive EMI teaching experience to enhance the capabilities of new faculty members. 
(6) Hardware and EMI facility installation: The LC has upgraded computer and language classroom equipment to ensure student learning. Furthermore, the CoB has used alumni donations to renovate three EMI classrooms and related MOOC equipment in the academic year 2023/24. 
(7) Engaging more colleges: Aligning with NTPU’s development plan for a sustainable, international campus, the BEST program has benefitted many domestic and international faculty members and students. We will continue to maximize the impact of the BEST program on more colleges while advancing towards making the bilingual education program a university-wide endeavor.
