I. Summary of Self-evaluation 

This bilingual education promotion plan focuses on four core parts: 

• promote academic English curriculum and improve teaching quality
• provide professional English courses and enhance communication and expression skills
• expand digital learning and autonomous adaptability 
• cultivate multicultural thinking and international mobility

Characteristics of this Bilingual Plan includes Quality Curriculum, Teacher Support, and Student Learning. 

  Highlights of the Plan 

1. Hold end-of-semester showcase among freshman students. Students from five colleges gathered to demonstrate what they have learned. 
2. Promote “English Table Fun loyalty card” activity to encourage students to expand their learning and receive rewards. 
3. One EMI TA received the Certificate of EMI TA Skills from National Taiwan Normal University.
4. In the 113 academic year, two content teachers were selected by National Chung Hsing University for overseas EMI teacher training.

II. Approaches of Self-Assessment 

1. Administration: First, hold monthly management and assessment meetings. 

Second, cooperate with the Office of Institutional Research (IR) to conduct in-depth analysis of indicators on specific issues, and link school database data for teaching effectiveness. Third, strengthen interaction with regional resource centers and key subsidy schools to share resources, and fourth, based on PDCA cycle, to review implementation and management. 

1. Teaching: First, through professional teaching community groups to understand and share teaching situations, and improve teachers teaching capabilities through lectures, seminars, and workshops. Second, by examining teaching objectives, methods, and evaluations, and analyzing the results of course questionnaires, related improvement plans are proposed and adjusted.
