In the 112th academic year, the College of Business and College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in Chung Yuan Christian University were designated as key cultivation colleges under The Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College. The Office of Bilingual Education offers compulsory English courses and EAP/ESP courses to enhance student proficiency and prepare them for EMI (English-Medium Instruction) courses. The College of Business earned AACSB accreditation and the 2023 Silver Award from Beta Gamma Sigma, while the College of Electrical Engineering was ranked fifth nationwide in employer satisfaction and achieved global recognition in the 2023 THE rankings. The highlights are as follows:

1. Development of Bilingual Learning Activities: The Office of Bilingual Education has organized a series of practical and interactive English learning activities to foster a bilingual campus environment. This includes DIY English activities, with a total of nine events engaging 401 participants, aimed at enhancing English skills among faculty, staff, and students.
2. Promotion and Support of English-Medium Instruction (EMI): The university has significantly increased the number of awarded EMI teachers by 37% over three years, reflecting effective support and training. The Business School offered 235 EMI courses and 20 online courses, with additional measures including EMI workshops, teaching assistant training, and proficiency test incentives.
3. International Collaboration and Student Mobility: The university promotes international exchange and learning opportunities through organized visits and courses abroad. Notably, 64 students participated in international research visits, and through selection and interview, one of the participating students join Impact English College Brisbane summer school to further strengthen language ability. Thus, the main propose aims to not only encourage students to go abord, but expand their international horizons, and finally increase their competitiveness in the future workplace.
