The College of Engineering, College of Management and College of Education are the three key cultivation colleges supporting the university’s vision to become an internationally renowned institution for cultivating outstanding professionals. A University-level Bilingual Resource Promotion Center collaborates with three college-level resource centers to drive the BEST program forward towards three goals: "Sustainable Bilingual Campus," "Elevating International Mobility," and "Promoting International Academic Influence." Shared strategies have significantly increased EMI provision, including exclusive spaces for language and cultural learning, certifications and rewards for stakeholders, ESP-EAP curriculum upgrades, etc.
With three years of implementation, the College of Engineering now offers 41 EMI courses, with an impressive student EMI enrollment of 55%. With IEET accreditation, a newly established all-English BA Program attracts students from New Southbound countries, enhancing international influence. The College of Management with AACSB accreditation, has doubled the number of EMI courses, demonstrating top-tier teaching quality in its first year of implementation. With a graduate-level EMI course ratio of 30%, EMI student numbers have grown drastically. A new Muslim prayer room indicates a cross-cultural environment; a cross-border community energizes teacher professional development. The College of Education has also completed its third year. The long-established international graduate program ELMD is the catalyst for tripling EMI course provisions college-wide; new bilingual teachers and an EMI teaching community energize this growth. Resources are extended to local high schools.
Collectively, CCU has established a solid foundation with significant growth, though students' speaking and writing abilities still require improvement for better class interaction. Ceaseless endeavors will extend internationalization beyond CCU, impacting regional industries and school alliances, and manifesting our international ambitions.
