Feng Chia University (FCU), aiming to be a “Global Talent Mobility Hub”, has advanced bilingual education (EMI) through curriculum innovation, faculty development, student support, and international collaboration, enhancing global visibility and fostering an international learning environment.

1. International School of Technology and Management
   1. First in Taiwan to launch 2+2 dual-degree programs with 7 partner universities.
   2. Over 532 students studied abroad and 350 dual-degree graduates cultivated.
   3. Expanded Mix-Module courses with international faculty in key disciplines.
   4. Hosted 10 international events and education fairs with 400+ participants.
   5. Implemented mandatory English proficiency testing for freshmen and offered PYP, IELTS, and Python training.
2. College of Business
   1. Established an EMI Teaching Center with curriculum, faculty, and student support track systems.
   2. Trained more than 40 faculty internationally, fostering an EMI community.
   3. EMI courses expanded to nearly 100, demonstrating institutionalization.
   4. Students engaged in cross-cultural programs, English competitions, exams, and active social media.
   5. Developed a structured EMI TA training-certification-matching system.
3. College of Architecture
   1. Focused on sustainability, smart design, and VR EMI courses.
   2. EMI credit attainment doubled compared to the previous year.
   3. 15 faculty trained, including overseas training at the University of Adelaide.
   4. Promoted international forums, workshops, internships, and EMI Teaching Community.
4. Language Center
   1. Conducted EMI TA and faculty workshops.
   2. Provided English corners, cultural activities, and competitions, enhancing students’ practical language use.

Looking Ahead: FCU will continue to strengthen EMI courses, expand international partnerships, and enhance student support, establishing a model of bilingual higher education in Taiwan and beyond.
