I.    Summary of Self-evaluation 
This bilingual education promotion plan focuses on four core parts: 

• promote academic English curriculum and improve teaching quality
• provide professional English courses and enhance communication and expression skills
• expand digital learning and autonomous adaptability 
• cultivate multicultural thinking and international mobility

Characteristics of this Bilingual Plan includes Quality Curriculum, Teacher Support, and Student Learning.

II.    Highlights of the Plan
1.    Integration of AI into Freshman Academic English and English for Information Technology Courses
NPTU has incorporated AI into Freshman Academic English and English for Information Technology Courses in 113th academic year to introduce students to the applications of AI in language learning. A new “AI Literacy and Applications” domain will be launched in the 115th academic year to further equip students with essential skills for future career competitiveness.
2.    Implementation of EMI and EAP Teaching Observation Principles
To ensure the quality assurance cycle of EMI and EAP instruction, NPTU has formulated the “EMI and EAP Teaching Observation and Feedback Principles.” Through lesson observations, teaching resources are effectively utilized to promote peer learning and teaching improvement.
3.    Development of EAP & EMI MOOC-integrated Course Videos
NPTU's teachers have produced course videos for the freshman and sophomore general English curriculum as well as departmental EMI courses. Each video is uploaded to the NPTU's digital learning platform, enabling students to revisit lessons at their own pace. This fosters autonomous learning, improves learning efficiency, and strengthens digital literacy and self-management skills.
4.    Academic English Poster Exhibition with Local and Global Themes
In the 113th academic year, NPTU hosted an Academic English Poster Exhibition on local culture and global issues. Students showcased posters across three campuses, promoting language application, presentation skills, creativity, and collaboration through theme-based learning and peer engagement.
