The Bilingual Education Program, coordinated by the university-level "Bilingual Education Center" with robust collaboration across colleges and the Office of International Affairs, focuses on integrating English into professional learning, ensuring high-quality EMI (English as a Medium of Instruction) courses and diverse bilingual activities.

• Phased Curriculum: CMU implements a systematic EMI curriculum, progressing from tiered English proficiency courses to academic English (EAP), English for Specific Purposes (ESP), and advanced professional EMI courses, with a future modular design. 
• Significant EMI Growth: The three key cultivation colleges offered 191 physical EMI courses, with 126 faculty members having taught EMI courses.
• Comprehensive Student Support: The University offers diverse English learning platforms and non-credit language courses, incentivizing students to achieve CEFR B2 proficiency. It also organizes all-English competitions, immersive experience weeks, and creates specialized bilingual content like Chinese medicine podcasts and apps to enhance practical English application and communication skills.
• Rigorous Quality Assurance: EMI course designs undergo a three-tier review by departments, centers, and the university-level curriculum committee. Teaching evaluations and observation systems, including expert consultation and self-observation, are rigorously applied to ensure consistent quality.
• Deepened International Collaboration: CMU actively recruits international faculty, supports student overseas internships and exchanges, hosts international conferences, and signs dual-degree agreements with global partners to broaden international perspectives.
